Just for the record, I tested the update and it fixed the issue for me. I didn't want to switch to -proposed globally, so I just manually downloaded the relevant .deb files from https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk4/4.22.4+ds-0ubuntu0.2/+build/33808547 and installed them with dpkg -i.
