Sadly, I used AI to help diagnose and after I was stuck in hundreds of
plasma crash loops and dozens of reboots, I finally solved it with patching
some files to point away from those legacy files/folders. I don't truly
understand the core problem/solution but since it took me 2 days of
troubleshooting and running commands to stop the plasma UI crashing I
decided to post what AI interpreted the problem was so it could prevent the
same issue for others. I submitted the crash logs a bunch of times too.
