Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: ristretto
First saw ristretto in the list for update-manager this morning. Thought
it looked interesting, so tried it. The File..Open chooser showed
folders enabled (could be opened), but all files disabled (could not be
opened). Closed and restarted ristretto (from command line) several
times. Could not open files - chooser showed all files greyed out.
Tried right-clicking the file chooser to enable "Show hidden files",
same result, all files greyed out. On next start of ristretto, I could
open files. I believe (can't remember exactly) that disabling "show
hidden files" got me back to the all files greyed out state. Last time
it showed the file chooser with all files greyed out, I used the
"File..Recently used" menu to re-open one of the files that I couldn't
open via the File chooser. Since I used the "Recently used" menu, I
haven't been able to recreate the problem - it always shows files
enabled for opening in the file chooser.
** Affects: ristretto (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
