I can reproduce this pretty easily by starting a game and switching workspaces (I use the desktop cube plugin if that matters). But it manifests in a multitude of different ways. Playing a video in my web browser will cause corruption. I've attached my (mildly censored) dmesg log as requested. There's some obvious clues at the end of it.
