I can reproduce a related issue on Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS (GNOME Shell 50.1,
Ubuntu Tiling Assistant 54):

Super+Left tiles the active window correctly.

Super+Right incorrectly triggers the Tiling Popup behavior.

org.gnome.shell.extensions.tiling-assistant enable-tiling-popup is set
to false.

tile-left-half is ['<Super>Left', '<Super>KP_4'].

tile-right-half is ['<Super>Right', '<Super>KP_6'].

org.gnome.mutter.keybindings toggle-tiled-left/right are both empty (@as
[]).

Disabling [email protected] makes both Super+Left and
Super+Right work correctly.

Re-enabling the extension immediately reproduces the problem.

So the problem appears to be caused by the Ubuntu Tiling Assistant
extension rather than by Mutter itself. The behavior is also asymmetric:
Left works, Right does not.
