Public bug reported:
After updating freerdp3 from 3.24.2+dfsg-1ubuntu1 (release) to
3.32.0+dfsg-0ubuntu0.26.04.1 (resolute-updates/security), KRdp
(6.6.4-0ubuntu1) rejects all logins.
Server log:
[ERROR][com.winpr.sspi.NTLM] - [ntlm_fetch_ntlm_v2_hash]: Error: Could not find
user in SAM database
Steps to reproduce:
krdpserver -u testuser -p testpass
xfreerdp3 /v:localhost /u:testuser /p:testpass /cert:ignore
Authentication fails (ERRCONNECT_LOGON_FAILURE). It also fails from Microsoft
Windows App on macOS.
Downgrading libfreerdp-server3-3, libwinpr3-3 and libfreerdp3-3 to
3.24.2+dfsg-1ubuntu1 fixes it.
