in the long/mid-term: what's the status on this?

Is this patch -- require-utility-to-be-invoked-at-matching-path.patch --
going to stay even if it breaks scripts?

Is there a proper solution planed for this, or should we assume UUtils
only on Ubuntu will never support this case?

Is it eventually possible to use 'env' from GNU coreutils by default
while the problem is present?
