The diff in the description is no longer relevant: gloo-cuda and
tensorpipe-cuda now exist in the archive (multiverse) and libgloo-cuda-
dev / libtensorpipe-cuda-dev install fine. Switching to the non-CUDA
variants would be wrong.

The real blocker is nvidia-cudnn, which is a downloader package: its
postinst fetches cuDNN from developer.download.nvidia.com. Launchpad
builders have no network access, so dependency installation always fails
(stonking amd64 build of 2.6.0+dfsg-7,
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pytorch-
cuda/2.6.0+dfsg-7/+build/32793587):

  curl: (6) Could not resolve host: developer.download.nvidia.com
  dpkg: error processing package nvidia-cudnn (--configure)
  Fail-Stage: install-deps

arm64 and ppc64el fail at the same stage. Nothing else in the archive
provides cuDNN.

Debian has the same limitation: pytorch-cuda is in contrib and the
binaries there come from maintainer uploads, not from the buildds (no
build logs exist). Ubuntu doesn't accept such binary uploads, so the
package can't build here.

pytorch-cuda has been stuck in -proposed since mantic and was never
released in any Ubuntu series. pytorch itself (universe) is fine.

Archive admins: please remove pytorch-cuda 2.6.0+dfsg-7 from stonking-
proposed and add it to the sync blocklist so it doesn't come back, as it
can't be built on Launchpad while cuDNN is only available by download.

** Summary changed:

- pytorch-cuda FTBFS
+ Remove pytorch-cuda from stonking-proposed (needs network to install
nvidia-cudnn, can't build on Launchpad)

** Changed in: pytorch-cuda (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Confirmed
