Public bug reported:

**Hardware:**
- Laptop: Lenovo Slim 7-14ILL10
- OS: Ubuntu 26.04
- Bluetooth adapter: Intel USB ID 8087:0037
- Headphones: JBL Tour One M3
- Audio stack: PipeWire 1.6.2 / WirePlumber 1.6.2

**Regression:**
Bluetooth audio works perfectly with kernel 7.0.0-34-generic, but fails with
kernel 7.0.0-38-generic on the exact same machine and headphones.

**Steps to reproduce:**
1. Boot Ubuntu with kernel 7.0.0-38-generic.
2. Connect the JBL Tour One M3 headphones via Bluetooth.
3. Select them as the default audio output.
4. Attempt to play audio using GNOME Sound Settings, YouTube, or pw-play.

**Actual result:**
- The headphones connect successfully and are recognized by BlueZ and PipeWire.
- No audio is heard.
- YouTube playback repeatedly pauses and resumes.
- Switching between available A2DP codecs (LDAC, AAC, SBC, etc.) does not help.
- Restarting PipeWire, WirePlumber and Bluetooth does not resolve the issue.
- Disconnecting/reconnecting the headphones and rebooting the system do not
resolve the issue.
- The laptop's built-in speakers work normally.
- The headphones work normally with a Mac.

**Expected result:**
Bluetooth audio should work normally with the JBL Tour One M3 on kernel
7.0.0-38-generic.

**Relevant logs:**

spa.bluez5.sink.media: Missing completion reports for packet (0
suppressed): Bluetooth adapter firmware bug?
Bluetooth: hci0: SCO packet for unknown connection handle 257
Bluetooth: hci0: ACL packet for unknown connection handle 2049

**Verified workaround:**
Booting kernel 7.0.0-34-generic immediately restores Bluetooth audio
functionality. No hardware or headphone configuration changes are necessary.

The regression appears to have been introduced between kernel versions
7.0.0-34 and 7.0.0-38, potentially involving the Intel Bluetooth driver
or its interaction with firmware and the audio stack.
