Public bug reported:

I experienced a soft lockup on a Thinkpad Gen2 AMD laptop recently after
upgrading to Ubuntu 26, when it was stable on Ubuntu 24 for a long time.

After a bit of digging, I think Kernel 7.0.0-28 and later contains
b2ed01e7ad3d which introduce a problem fixed by
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/misc/kernel/-/commit/3db7d7d583419f7b1f2e141e36418802dbb25cf8
(drm/ttm: fix swapped-out resources never leaving their bulk_move
range).

In Ubuntu's changelog, the bug-introducing commit ("drm/ttm: Fix
ttm_bo_swapout() infinite LRU walk on swapout failure") arrived in
7.0.0-28. The fix doesn't appear anywhere up to my current 7.0.0-38, and
apt shows no newer kernel available.

Can this change be backported into Ubuntu 26 please?
