Hi, I upgraded from 24.04 to 26.04.01 using the standard upgrader.
After the upgrade Ubuntu does not present a login screen but logs
straight into Greeter. If I press Ctrl+Alt+F3 I get the CLI login
screen and can log in with my normal account. Also I have found that if
I alter Ubuntu Settings > System > Users > [myaccount] > Automatic Login
= yes, and reboot then Ubuntu logs into my account rather than Greeter.
So my account still exist. However, this is still a problem as I do not
want the PC to log in to my account without authentication. Not sure if
it is relevant, however, prior to the upgrade I had configured 24.04 to
display the login screen to ask for the username to be entered (rather
than to choose from a list), in line with CIS recommendations. Thanks
