Private security bug reported:
DEll PowerEgde Prot system with Ubuntu 26.04 intalled shows "QAT driver fails
to probe with "error -14 after loading qat_6xxx driver" in dmesg
after reloading the driver using the following commands: modinfo
qat_6xxx、modprobe -r qat_6xxx、modprobe qat_6xxx we observe that the qat_6xxx
driver fails to probe the QAT devices with the following errors: "error
-EFAULT: Wireless mode is not supported. probe with driver 6xxx failed with
error -14"
probable root cause :
Error messages "wireless mode not supported" is because of missing patch
"Commit 464da0b - crypto: qat - add wireless mode support for QAT GEN6"
This patch is already available in upstream kernel 7.1.
