According to the debian wiki (https://wiki.debian.org/UsingSymbolsFiles) using symbols files in c++ libraries is discouraged. Would removing this one cause problems?
I explored converting the symbols file to the fancy c++ syntax mentioned in the aforementioned article, but I wasn't able to get all of them to match up cleanly (and I still had to include all of the monomorphized symbols from std). I've created a branch that marks the problematic symbols as optional, since that seemed like the most conservative change to me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2168990 Title: libseqlib 1.2.0+dfsg-12 FTBFS on amd64, amd64v3 (symbols mismatch) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libseqlib/+bug/2168990/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
