Public bug reported: trurl 0.16.1-5 has been in stonking-proposed for 87 days. It fails its test suite on every architecture where tests run (riscv64 is built with nocheck):
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/trurl/0.16.1-5/+build/33411004 34: failed --url 'https://example.com/#%2e%61%13%Fa' expected: 'https://example.com/#.a%13%FA\n' got: 'https://example.com/#.a%13%fa\n' Debian 0.16.1-5 added d/p/Fix-hex-expected-case.patch, which switches the expected test output to the uppercase percent-encoding produced by curl 8.21.0 (Debian #1140284, upstream https://github.com/curl/trurl/issues/440). stonking still has curl 8.20.0-2ubuntu11, which produces lowercase, so those tests now fail. 0.16.1-4, which is in the release pocket, built fine against the same curl. Plan: upload 0.16.1-5ubuntu1 with that patch disabled, and drop the delta once curl >= 8.21 is in Ubuntu. ** Affects: trurl (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: ftbfs stonking update-excuse ** Tags added: ftbfs stonking update-excuse -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2170782 Title: trurl 0.16.1-5 FTBFS: tests expect curl >= 8.21 hex casing, stonking has curl 8.20 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/trurl/+bug/2170782/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
