Public bug reported:
synaptic fails saying to report a bug since update-manager-core 1:0.81.1 does
not have a file
dselect cannot deal with the problem. I cannot install nor remove or
purge update-manager-core
Going to the pool i downloaded update-manager-core in the main section
and it was update-manager-core_0.56~edgy5_all.deb but I could not
install it
Using dselect after I tried to use the original
update-manager-core_0.56~edgy5_all.deb
using
dpkg -i --force-downgrade update-manager-core_0.56~edgy5_all.deb
I have got the following warning:
