Public bug reported:
Would it be possible to provide Back In Time 1.6.1 for Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
(Noble), either through a stable-release update or a supported backport?
Noble still provides version 1.4.3, while newer Debian and Ubuntu
releases have newer versions. Many Linux Mint 22 users rely on Ubuntu
24.04's package base and would benefit from the bug fixes and
improvements in the 1.6 series.
I understand that the 1.6 series was planned with Ubuntu 26.04 in mind.
Could you clarify whether there is a technical or policy reason
preventing a Noble package, or whether this is primarily a matter of
maintainer capacity?
Thank you.
