Public bug reported:

I recently installed from ISO Ubuntu-26.04. Fully patched and rebooted
just hours ago. Before this was installed it was running Ubuntu-24.04
and rhythmbox was working perfectly.

But ever since 26.04, I find hitting pause seemed to break rhythmbox.
Once it's paused and left for some "moments" (cannot tell you where the
cutoff is), then the media controls break and I cannot restart play,
click to change songs, etc. journald shows no new messages in this state
- there's no direct sign of a problem - it just doesn't work. I have to
restart rhythmbox to regain control and then it's fine if I just hit
play and let it run forever.

BTW I have a browser-based/Cloud music streamer and that works fine -
the problem is specific to something

rhythmbox uses rather than hardware from my perspective
