Thank you for the quick response and for linking to bug #2156867.

I have tested the fix on my Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10
(21CCS9K500) with kernel 7.0.0-38-generic and linux-firmware-misc
20260319.git217ca6e4-0ubuntu2.2.

Please note that my hardware is different from the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7
referenced in bug #2156867 — my system uses an Intel Alder Lake
processor, not AMD.

After the fix, I noticed a partial improvement: `hda codecs found, mask
5` now appears in dmesg after the first reboot, which is an improvement
over the previous `mask 4`. However, internal speakers are still not
available in `aplay -l` after the first reboot.

After disconnecting and reconnecting the ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 Dock
(which sometimes causes monitor recognition issues), and then performing
a second reboot, audio works correctly — HDA Analog appears in `aplay
-l` and internal speakers function properly.

It is possible that the dock reconnection triggers a hardware
reinitialization that helps the audio codec initialize correctly. This
behavior with the dock was also present before this fix.

The issue is not fully resolved for the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 — it
requires specific conditions (dock reconnection + second reboot) to work
reliably.
