lso affected on Ubuntu 26.10 (upgraded from 26.04, where it worked). font-manager 0.9.4-4, libgtk-4-1 4.24.1+ds-1, libadwaita 1.10.0-0ubuntu2, yaru-theme-gtk 26.10.3ubuntu.
Symptoms: the left pane (font list) is blank, the preview runs off the right edge, and the window buttons show as a black block. The terminal prints: Theme parser error: gtk-dark.css:1:1-87: Failed to import: The resource at "/com/ubuntu/themes/Yaru-prussiangreen-dark/4.0/gtk- dark.css" does not exist. Reproduces with Yaru-prussiangreen-dark and plain Yaru-dark, and after purging and reinstalling font-manager. Workaround: GTK_THEME=Adwaita:dark font-manager renders correctly. To make it permanent, copy the .desktop files to ~/.local/share/applications/ and prefix Exec= with env GTK_THEME=Adwaita:dark. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot From 2026-10-20 13-26-47.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/font-manager/+bug/2171284/+attachment/6010937/+files/Screenshot%20From%202026-10-20%2013-26-47.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2171284 Title: Don't start in 26.10 - no theme definition To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/font-manager/+bug/2171284/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
