I made some simpler instructions to re-create this with a XCP-ng installation (copied from the XCP-ng forum where they have reproduced the issue):
1) download ubuntu cloud image for resolute: https://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/resolute/20260927/ resolute-server-cloudimg-amd64.ova 2) import to vm and convert to template 3) create new VM from template with 4 cpus and 8 gb ram, delete cloud config drive after first boot (just my test params). Use the following simple cloud-init ``` #cloud-config users: - name: ubuntu groups: sudo lock_passwd: false plain_text_passwd: pass ``` 4) login to console and execute sudo journalctl -f then migrate the machine a few times. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2171183 Title: kernel task hang after live migration of xcpng guest of cloud-image resolute To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2171183/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
