Thank you for the notification. I have successfully verified the original SONY471A / -EEXIST fix using linux/7.0.0-39.39 on my Lenovo ThinkPad X9 running Ubuntu 26.04.
However, my system uses the generic kernel, not linux-aws, so I cannot verify linux-aws/7.0.0-1016.17. The original kernel issue is resolved on my hardware, and the camera is now working normally with the separate CamHAL privacy-shutter workaround. I hope someone with a suitable linux-aws testing environment can complete the remaining verification. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2158540 Title: ThinkPad X9-15 Gen 1: IPU7 camera probe fails — duplicate software_node SONY471A-0 (-EEXIST), bridge init failed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2158540/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
