Thunar in Xubuntu 20.04 at least is priorizing NUMBER to char natural order.
For example, I have in a folder: fat12rd.py fat16rd.py fat32rd.py and fat126.py Lexically, fat126.py comes BEFORE fat12rd.py because '6' is less than 'r' BUT... Thunar considers 126 a bigger number than 32... so it is listing fat126.py AFTER fat32rd.py... That gave a real shock when I didn't find the file at first glance!! I had to try copying it to see that already existed and was show in a "slightly wrong" order... I think order by NAME must be LEXICAL not NUMBER BASED... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/684317 Title: Incorrect alphabetical sort order in thunar with non-latin (eg. cyrillic) file names To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/thunar/+bug/684317/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
