Public bug reported:

[Impact]

When booting DGX Spark with kernel noble/linux-nvidia-7.0 version
7.0.0-1023.24~24.04.1, all USB controllers fail to probe with the
following:

[ 1.081040] xhci-hcd NVDA8000:04: Not find power wrap config data
[ 1.081049] xhci-hcd NVDA8000:04: probe with driver xhci-hcd failed with error
-22

The result is that USB devices are not detected, and the output of lsusb
is empty.

This is a regression from the version of noble/linux-nvidia-7.0
currently in -updates, 7.0.0-1019.19~24.04.2.

[Fix]

Apply SAUCE patch "NVIDIA: SAUCE: usb: xhci-plat: fall back to generic
xHCI without Power Wrap device control" to fallback to generic
initialization on devices with old or incompatible firmware.

[Test Plan]

Boot the patched kernel on DGX Spark running the following firmware
version:

$ cat /sys/class/dmi/id/bios_version
5.36_0ACUM018

Observe that there are no probe failures in dmesg, and expected USB
devices are visible in the output of lsusb:

[Where problems could occur]

The issue and its corresponding fix is targeted to XHCI controller
initialization on DGX Spark systems. Issues would manifest in missing or
misbehaving USB devices.
