Let's first check whether this is a problem with beep crashing at
logout, or a problem with apport itself.
Can you please do:
* Press Ctrl+Alt+F1 and log into the text console
* /usr/share/apport/apport-checkreports; echo $?
-> this should print '1'
* ls -l /var/crash/ > crashes.before.txt
* Now press Ctrl+Alt+F7 and log out of your session
* /usr/share/apport/apport-checkreports; echo $?
-> this should print '0' now, if beep has crashed
* ls -l /var/crash/ > crashes.after.txt
Can you please check this and attach crashes.before.txt and
crashes.after.txt here?
