It fails to build with ffmpeg 9.0, with no fix available: - Debian bug #1144023: ovito: FTBFS with ffmpeg 9.0 - Debian bug #1143685: ovito: FTBFS: collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status - Debian bug #1147941: ovito: Undocumented Sun RPC license; non-free It has been removed from Debian testing: it is only in unstable, where migration is blocked by those RC bugs (174 days old). Reverse dependencies: none. This blocks the ffmpeg 8 -> 9 transition in tenacious (https://transitions.ubuntu.com/html/auto-ffmpeg.html): ffmpeg 9 cannot smooth-update, so the package would become uninstallable and hold ffmpeg in -proposed. Please remove the source and binaries from tenacious.
