Public bug reported: Please remove the dosbox-x binaries on ppc64el, riscv64 and s390x from tenacious (dosbox-x 2026.08.02+dfsg-2: dosbox-x, dosbox-x-dbgsym; the arch: all dosbox-x-data stays).
dosbox-x 2026.10.01+dfsg-1 was synced to tenacious-proposed for the ffmpeg 9 transition, and it fails to build on those 3 architectures because of an upstream FPU handling regression: ../../../src/fpu/fpu.cpp:790:25: error: 'FPU_FTST' was not declared in this scope; did you mean 'FPU_FST'? Build logs: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dosbox-x/2026.10.01+dfsg-1/+build/33868081 (ppc64el) https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dosbox-x/2026.10.01+dfsg-1/+build/33868082 (riscv64) https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dosbox-x/2026.10.01+dfsg-1/+build/33868083 (s390x) Debian has the same failure, https://bugs.debian.org/1150011 (FTBFS on loong64, ppc64el, s390x due to FPU handling), still open. dosbox-x has NOT been removed from Debian testing: testing still has 2026.08.31+dfsg-1, and 2026.10.01+dfsg-1 isn't migrating because of the FTBFS. The old binaries on those architectures block the migration of dosbox-x, and with it the ffmpeg transition.
