`dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc` ends: ``` dpkg-deb: building package 'python3-example' in '../python3-example_0.0.0_all.deb'. dpkg-genbuildinfo -O../example_0.0.0_amd64.buildinfo dpkg-genchanges -O../example_0.0.0_amd64.changes dpkg-genchanges: error: cannot fstat file ../example_0.0.0.git: No such file or directory dpkg-buildpackage: error: dpkg-genchanges -O../example_0.0.0_amd64.changes subprocess failed with exit status 255 ```
In the current directory (repository root): ``` # ls -l example_0.0.0.git -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4262 Oct 26 14:28 example_0.0.0.git ``` This is being executed from a gitlab pipeline, the 24.04 version works but 26.04 fails. I put the 24.04 Git.pm in to 26.04 but that did not resolve the problem so I suspect the problem is outside of that module. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2148043 Title: dpkg source creates git bundle on repository root To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dpkg/+bug/2148043/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
