Status: - The udev rule fix is merged: https://salsa.debian.org/apt-team/apt/-/merge_requests/630 - unattended-upgrades got Unattended-Upgrade::MinBatteryLevel, defaulting to 40%, merged upstream: https://github.com/mvo5/unattended-upgrades/pull/424 and https://github.com/mvo5/unattended-upgrades/pull/437 - apt: https://salsa.debian.org/apt-team/apt/-/merge_requests/641 lets unattended-upgrade decide instead of ConditionACPower=true, open.
With both released, laptops on battery get upgrades while the battery is at least 40% charged. The drop-in in comment #3 isn't enough on its own: unattended-upgrade also checks for AC power itself. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2089151 Title: apt-daily and apt-daily-upgrade may never actually run To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apt/+bug/2089151/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
