Hello, I am experiencing a similar suspend/resume failure on Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS, on a Dell XPS 13 9315.
Hardware and software Laptop: Dell XPS 13 9315 CPU: Intel Core i7-1260U Graphics: Intel Iris Xe, driver i915 BIOS: 1.41.0 Ubuntu: 26.04.1 LTS (Resolute) Kernel versions tested: 7.0.0-38-generic, 7.0.0-31-generic, and 6.14.0-1019-oem Problem When I suspend the laptop, either by closing the lid or selecting Suspend, the screen remains black when I try to resume. I have to force a shutdown using the power button. The problem occurs with all three kernel versions listed above. The previous boot's kernel log ends with: PM: suspend entry (s2idle) I also see the following messages in the kernel log: i915 ... Selective fetch area calculation failed in pipe A intel-ipu6: IPU6 bridge init failed I understand that these messages may not be the cause of the suspend problem. Could this be related to a kernel suspend/resume regression? Please advise on how to collect any additional diagnostics needed.
