For jpeg images this results in different kinds of artifacts in + the images, e.g. green blocks or gray stripes. I have tried the start over several times, every time it results in some (a few) corrupted files. However it is not the same files each time, and I cannot see any pattern in which files gets corrupted. When using the same setup of rapid-photo-downloader (with other versions of the package and its dependencies) on my PopOS 24.04 machine (based of Ubuntu 24.04) this problem does not occur. I suspect that it is https://github.com/libimobiledevice/ifuse 1.2.0 that causes the problem. On this linked web page they currently write: "⚠️ Version 1.2.0 has a serious bug that results in data corruption. Regression was introduced in commit 36956a and fixed in Version 1.2.1 with commit 903a29." As Ubuntu 26.04 currently uses ifuse 1.2.0-2 this seems likely to be the problem.
