Public bug reported:
This is rather informational, since the bug occured on ubuntu 26.04, but
does not occur with 26.10 (run in a docker container). So my problem is
solved by using 26.10, just to keep you informed:
I had a strange bug in ffmpeg in Kubuntu 26.04, and observed the very
same problem with handbrake (which uses some of the same libraries).
I do have three video files, which I need to delete due to their size,
and that's why I can't keep them for testing:
-rwxrwxrwx 1 hadmut hadmut 96614306304 May 27 2024 SHGINF_S001_S001_T001.MOV*
-rwxrwxrwx 1 hadmut hadmut 28301365760 May 27 2024 SHGINF_S001_S001_T002.MOV*
-rwxrwxrwx 1 hadmut hadmut 196277743616 May 27 2024 SHGINF_S001_S001_T003.MOV*
All made on the same day with the same machine (Shogun Inferno Recorder) in the
same session.

Unsupported codec with id 0 for input stream 2
While the first and the second file can be converted normally (video & audio)
both with ffmpeg and handbrake, both tools cannot read the audio of the third
file. Even mpv can't play the audio of the third video, while, in contrast, vlc
can play it.

ffmpeg version 8.0.1-3ubuntu2
However, when doing the same in a docker container, run with
podman run --rm -v /myworkingdir:/work -it ubuntu:26.10 bash
and inside apt install ffmpeg , and do the same command, things work
normally.
ffmpeg version 8.1.2-2ubuntu2
So, whatever the reason might be, the problem is fixed in 26.10.
If more people are affected by this, a backport might be an approach.
