The 2026f release contains the following changes: * Cuba will not fall back to -05 on 2026-11-01 and instead plans to maintain -04 through 2027-11-07 * Mention that the "expires" in the leapseconds file is now obsolete [ Test Plan ] Test cases were added to the autopkgtest to cover the testing: * python: test_2026f * python-icu: test_2026f So the test plan is to check that the autopkgtest succeeds. [ Other Info ] * The autopkgtest for chrony is flaky on jammy and noble (see bug #2002910). * test_create_ical from python-caldav is flaky on resolute (see bug #2052629). * The ESM updates for focal and older need the ESM update for python-tz to build (see bug #207604) * The ESM updates for trusty, xenial, bionic, and focal will be prepared in https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-core-dev/ubuntu/+source/tzdata/+git/tzdata After releasing tzdata, please copy the package from -updates to -security.
