I can confirm this issue also affects my HP OMEN 16z-ap000 running Ubuntu 26.04 LTS (motherboard HP 8E35, BIOS F.13).
I tested both officially packaged Ubuntu kernels: - 7.0.0-38-generic - 7.0.0-42-generic The internal microphone does not work with either kernel. The Ryzen HD Audio Controller is detected, and Analog Stereo Duplex is enabled. However, the microphone input level remains at zero, and no audio is captured. An external Blue Snowball USB microphone works correctly. I would appreciate confirmation of when both required AMD ACP fixes will be included in an officially supported Ubuntu kernel.
