Alsa recognizes an audio sink as card 1 since "aplay -l" gives:

Wireplumber does not pick up the alsa card 1 since the output of "pactl
list short sinks" is
56 alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1f.3.hdmi-stereo PipeWire
s32le 2ch 48000Hz SUSPENDED
which shows only the hdmi sink i.e. alsa card 2
This sink is the monitor screen which has no speaker so no audio is
produced. The output of pw-top is
