Public bug reported:

Over the past few weeks, Google Chrome will crash during video playback
on Youtube, consistently, and the way to recover is to kill the Tab,
launch a new tab and go to a different address before browsing back to
youtube.com. Unknown if this is a Chrome or Ubuntu issue at this time.
