Tried model=17aa:0000 via /etc/modprobe.d (options snd-hda-intel model=17aa:0000,17aa:0000,17aa:0000 so it reaches the ALC257 on card 2). The parameter is applied (/sys/module/snd_hda_intel/parameters/model shows it), but dmesg still prints "ALC257: picked fixup for PCI SSID 17aa:38d7".
Speakers: sound good with the override. Internal DMIC (acp-pdm-mach, AMD ACP 1022:15e2 rev 0x70): still records a constant -32768 on every sample, no change.
