I only noted this recently. Some days ago restarted my workstation
because I say a lot of memory in use and couldn't easily see where that
had leaked. Now it happened again and I investigated more thoroughly.
Since reporting 3 hours ago I didn't do much work, but there are already
~40 rpcd_lsad processes running.

No idea why winbind is running, this installation has been upgraded many
times, so has a history. I thought is was needed to do wins name
resolution?

~$ testparm -s
