**Jammy / Linux Mint 21.3 — Fix Released, but restored 470-server
packages not yet available through APT**

Thank you for restoring the 470-server packages and marking the fix as
released.

I have just checked my previously affected system on 5 November 2026,
immediately after running `sudo apt update`.

System:
- Linux Mint 21.3 / Ubuntu Jammy
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (Kepler)
- Working driver: NVIDIA 470.256.02
- 22 NVIDIA packages currently held as a precaution

Current APT results:

```
nvidia-driver-470-server:
  Installed: 470.256.02-0ubuntu0.22.04.1
  Candidate: 470.256.02-0ubuntu0.22.04.5
nvidia-dkms-470-server:
  Installed: 470.256.02-0ubuntu0.22.04.1
  Candidate: 470.256.02-0ubuntu0.22.04.5
```

The restored version `470.256.02-0ubuntu0.22.04.6` is not yet visible in
my configured Jammy repositories. Both jammy-updates and jammy-security
still advertise the transitional `.5` version.

My system remains functional, and I have retained the existing package
holds.

Could the maintainers clarify whether this is simply a publication or
repository synchronization delay, or whether further action is required
before the restored packages become available through normal updates?

I would prefer to verify that APT selects the restored driver and its
correct dependencies before removing the holds.

Thank you again for the work on this regression.
