Gene, please follow these steps:
- Install dbus-x11
- Restart X
- Try to launch F-Spot
Report if the problem persists after that.
Niklas M, could you please run f-spot under a GNOME sessing, if you have
GNOME installed? This is, of course, not a sensible fix/workaround, but
it would help localize the bug since I can't reproduce it myself.
