Public bug reported:
On my Hardy installation with the latest package data, libsane is at
1.0.19-cvs20071213-4ubuntu1, and libsane-extras is at 1.0.18.12. When I
try to install libsane-extras, it conflicts with libsane. Many important
backends for SANE are in libsane-extras, including the one for Epson
scanners that I need, and it would be great if libsane-extras were
installable in Hardy.
