Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: tracker

I am running tracker in up-to-date hardy (tracker version
0.6.4-1ubuntu1). This seems to happen at least after hibernate: the
popup telling me that tracker is indexing files appears, I close it, it
immediately reappears for two or three times. Then it goes away, after a
couple of minutes it's again there... in a word, it's annoying. When the
user has explicitly closed the popup once, it should not show for a long
while. In any case, I think it should have a "never display this
message" option, and in general that frequent popups recall too much the
unusable GUI of other operating system(s), while the focus on usability
should identify another way to indicate the high load (e.g. the lens of
the applet turning red on high load due to indexing).

** Affects: tracker (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
