Public bug reported:
I have a dual boot Ubuntu 7.10 and Vista on Compaq Presario C714NR
laptop. The sound on Ubuntu works fine after the initial installation.
However, after I muted it once, now the sound is totally gone. I checked
and double checked the speaker icon on the menu bar and make sure that
it is not muted. Can someone help?
