Public bug reported: Switching sound playback via Gnome menu System -> Preferences -> Sound works fine. However I wanted a way to script this or run from terminal.
After discovering and installing asoundconf-gtk, switching the default sound output device worked fine both from the asoundconf GUI and terminal commands (and eventually a script). However, this change is not reflected in the Gnome Sound Preferences. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- changing sound output device via asoundconf not reflected in Gnome Sound Preferences applet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/186319 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
