1) Their labels don't come across properly. I get a label like 'k3b' instead of the explanatory label that shows up in kubuntu. I apologize for failing to mention this the first time.
2) I don't want them! I don't want to enable the KDE support in xubuntu and run those programs. I don't know if this will persuade you, of course. 3) I see your point, and it seems to me that there are two valid ideas at work here. One is 'if I install some individual kubuntu package, of course I should see its programs in xubuntu.' Another is, 'each of the -desktop packages is supposed to be a coherent collection of programs, and I want to be able to control how they mix up with each other.' In my personal idea of a perfect world, there would be some control over this process. -- xubuntu menus accumulate kubuntu items https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/186233 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
