After login in under a failsafe GNOME session I am able to get a desktop with
xserver-xgl installed. Here I am able to run al the glx tools with succes from
the command line, but when exiting each of these tools I get the following
error:
<code>XIO: fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server
":0.0"
after 3225 requests (3224 known processed) with 0 events remaining.<code>
When running compiz from the command line I get the following
<code>~$ compiz --replace
aborting and using fallback: /usr/bin/metacity
