Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. It has been marked as a
duplicate since the reason for the problem you are experiencing has its
root in Bug #125739. This problem has been resolved in the upcoming
Hardy 8.04 release. Work arounds for re-enabling sound preview now can
be found in that thread.
