1. Connect an iPod.
What happens: Nothing, for about seven seconds. (Then the iPod appears
on the desktop, and Music Player launches.)
What should happen: Within about two seconds, some sort of progress
feedback should appear, for example a progress window.
The problem may exist for devices other than iPods too, in which case
this bug report should be updated.
