The next question is if you can test with a Hardy Alpha release? Alpha2 and subsequent releases contain an updated version of the kernel. You can download and try the new Hardy Heron Alpha release from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/hardy/ . Please note that Alpha4 will be released within the next day or two so you may want to wait. You should be able to then test the new kernel via the LiveCD.
