It is desirable to have the World Vector Shoreline (wvs) data available in a
package for xtide. It gives a nice map display when
the program starts and a much nicer user experience. Since xtide is installed
in the menu, it is tempting for users exploring the system to try out the
program, so also for this reason it is good to give the program an attractive
appearance.
