Public bug reported:

If I run desktop-effects-kde4 and select any option, then click "Apply", I get
something like this:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/DesktopEffects/DesktopEffectsKDE4.py",
line 102, in apply
    DesktopEffectsCommon.apply(self)
  File
"/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/DesktopEffects/DesktopEffectsCommon.py", line
117, in apply
    self.enableStandardEffects()
  File
"/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/DesktopEffects/DesktopEffectsCommon.py", line
180, in enableStandardEffects
    config = open("data/MediumEffects.ini","r")
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'data/MediumEffects.ini'

I located the file in /usr/share/apps/desktop-effects-kde/.  I took a
look at the code, but I couldn't easily figure out where it was looking
for the "data" directory. This looks like it should be a very quick and
easy fix for someone who is familiar with the code.
